Description

Robert Half is looking for an Accounting Manager for a well-established growing company. Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager include preparing the financial statements, analyzing and reconciling accounts, analyzing cash flow, establishing budgets and forecasting, and handling internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Superior communication and analytical skills are crucial to this position. This well-compensated, full-time position includes benefits and growth possibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide monthly P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis

• Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP

• Formulate Balance Sheet account reconciliations

• Coordinating reviews and testing with external stakeholders

• Dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process

• Provide analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)

• Manage Ad-hoc projects as necessary

Requirements

• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance or Business

• 4+ years of overall general accounting experience

• General familiarity with US GAAP

• Engages effectively in self-directed time management and prioritization of workload

• Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems

• Financial statement prep and analysis experience is a plus

• Exposure to the month end close process

• Strong communication Skills
