Construction Coordinator -- Position and Responsibilities As a Construction Coordinator with Middough, you will coordinate construction functions for the client's construction/management project and interface with the client's operations, engineering, architecture, contractor, security, and safety staff. This position requires being on-site at a client facility in southern Ohio for the project duration of approximately 12+ months. As a Construction Coordinator, you may also coordinate and/or supervise field activities including safety. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Coordinate on-site functions (construction trades, engineering support, material control, construction inspections). Coordinate day-to-day construction site activities as required by the client. Support the work of contractors onsite and endeavors to ensure that all construction is compliant with design specifications, completed on schedule, adheres to budget, and is built to quality standards. Follow and adhere to all safety requirements for the Company, client, and local/State/Federal authorities. Prepare daily construction reports per client directives. Provide technical assistance, such as interpretation of drawings, as required. Education, Experience and Skills The successful candidate will possess the following: Bachelor's degree in technical field, or equivalent experience. 0-10 years' experience in site construction management. Working knowledge of construction means, methods, and standards. OSHA 10-hour safety certification. General knowledge of construction contract, scheduling, and safety liability issues. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Analytical, negotiation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to multi-task and be highly organized for effective project planning. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Frequently use up-close vision, distance vision, depth perceptions, and the ability to adjust focus. Should not expect adverse environmental conditions within company offices. Noise levels may be moderate to high at various client sites, hearing protection may be required and/or provided. Safety protections provided by the client and/or company and are required to be used and followed. May require occasional car or air travel to other company locations or client sites.
