Crowe's Cabinets is seeking to hire a delivery driver / assistant fabricator.

Summary of Position:

The delivery driver / assistant fabricator is responsible for delivering our products to our customers and to assist with assembling and finishing of all cabinets and cabinet components. The delivery driver is responsible for transporting items in a safe and timely manner. The delivery driver must also provide the highest level of customer satisfaction through polite, prompt service and ensuring an excellent experience. Assistant fabricator is also responsible for standard processes of machining, assembly, and packaging as directed by the shop foreman. Other miscellaneous tasks will also be assigned.

Responsibilities:

Load, transport, and deliver items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner.

Review orders before and after delivery to ensure they are complete, packed correctly, safely delivered, delivered to the correct client, and the customer is satisfied.

Prepare vehicle for loading.

Relay customer questions & complaints to appropriate co-worker.

Pick up and drop off items while adhering to assigned routes and time schedules.

Abide by all transportation laws and safety policies and maintain a safe driving record.

Prepare reports and other documents relating to deliveries.

Operate equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.

Keep vehicles neat, and clean at all times.

Perform routine, preventative maintenance checks on vehicles within appropriate time frames (daily, weekly, monthly, annually).

Follow all company policies and procedures.

Measure, cut, shape, and prepare surfaces to construct complete project

Apply correct hardware to cabinet components and prepare for assembly

Clean glue out of all assembled cabinets, add shelf tabs and place shelf in cabinet

Clean excess adhesives, dust, residue, and debris as required

Package accessories (i.e., fillers, light rails, shelves or other cabinet related components and hardware)

Package and protect products and accessories for safe transfer to the customer.

Verify accuracy and quality at each step of the manufacturing, assembly, packaging, and shipping process

Correct issues promptly and efficiently and coordinate with others and management as needed

Coordinate and communicate with management, co-workers and others as required

Follow all company policies and procedures
