Job Title: Operator

Job Description

In this role, you will be working in the Specialties area where two types of mixes are created: a powder substance and a wet mixture substance. Large super sacs will be filled with these substances are then shipped to other buildings on-site.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery with setup and basic troubleshooting - not just button pushing

• Set up machinery and adjust dials as necessary

• Use a computer interface for basic Excel functions like high/low values, special tests, and keying input numbers

• Maintain a clean work area

• Utilize a forklift to retrieve material or move pallets/sacs

• Lift and move material up to 75 pounds

Essential Skills

• Previous machine operating experience

• Ability to use a computer interface and familiarity with Excel for basic functions

• Sit-down forklift experience

• Basic math skills

• Mechanical aptitude for inspection and troubleshooting

• Awareness around safety

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Forklift certification

• Experience in a manufacturing environment

• Physical fitness for lifting and moving materials
