Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Order Puller/Unwind/Rewind Operator to join our Commercial Finishing Department. This role involves handling and operating machinery to process rolls of wallpaper for commercial customers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for material handling, machine operation, and ensuring the quality of finished products.

Responsibilities

• Pull rolls of wallpaper to supply machines in the Commercial Finishing Department.

• Operate unwinding and rewinding machines to process larger rolls into smaller ones.

• Load rolls, set measurements, and start the cutting process.

• Wrap finished products and place them on pallets for shipping.

• Track work orders and maintain organization.

• Inspect wallpaper for quality, ensuring no rips or defects.

• Drive a sit-down forklift with a pole attachment and other material handling equipment.

Work Environment

The work environment is in the Commercial Finishing Department, which is not climate controlled. Steel-toed boots are required, and the dress code is warehouse professional. You can wear pants or shorts, but no spaghetti straps or sweatpants. Cell phones and earbuds are not allowed on the floor, but you can use a speaker at a reasonable volume. The facility may get slightly cold or hot but remains manageable. Breaks include two 10-minute breaks and one 20-minute break, during which employees cannot leave the premises.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
