Job Description

Join our team as a General Laborer at a dynamic car auction company. We handle wrecked vehicles, cleaning them up before they are shipped to third-party customers. This is a full-time, outdoor position that requires dedication and versatility. If you enjoy working outdoors and can handle a variety of tasks, this role is perfect for you.

Responsibilities

• Open doors, hood, and trunk of vehicles, using hand tools if necessary.

• Remove license plates from vehicles.

• Use a jump box to power the odometer.

• Start the car if possible to test functionality.

• Clean out trash from vehicles and dispose of it appropriately.

• Separate personal belongings and place them in the trunk or as directed.

• Use a shop vacuum to clean the vehicle if required.

• Test the seals of windows and doors if needed.

• Take detailed pictures of the vehicle and answer questions about it.

Essential Skills

• Experience with cleaning, automotive tools, and general labor.

• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions, 24/7, year-round.

• Attention to detail and integrity when handling personal belongings.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Open to performing multiple tasks.

• Team-minded and honest, with a zero-tolerance policy for theft or disrespect.

Work Environment

The role requires working outside year-round, in all weather conditions. Employees must provide their own clothing for cold and rainy weather. The dress code includes leather work boots, long pants, and a reflective vest. Safety glasses and gloves are provided. Expect a dusty environment in the summer and a wet environment during the rainy season.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
