Fairview Health Services Physician - Emergency Medicine in Wyoming, Minnesota

Overview

Fairview Health Services is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join the Emergency Medicine Department at M Health Fairview Lakes Medical Center. Fairview Lakes Medical Center in Wyoming, MN provides award-winning care to the communities northeast of the Twin Cities. We are a Level IV trauma center, providing life-saving treatment to the seriously ill and injured 24 hours a day. Specialty services are available on-site in heart care, cancer care, childbirth, orthopedics, pediatrics and more.

Practice Details:

  • Join a team of 15 Physicians and 7 APRNs/PAs

  • FTE: flexible from 0.6-1.0

  • Fairview Lakes Medical Center is a 65 licensed bed facility and 24 bed ED

  • Level IV Trauma Center

  • Department sees an average of 75 patients per day

  • Annual Emergency Department volumes: 28,000

  • Approximately 15% of the Emergency Department visits are pediatrics

  • Physician shift times are 8-10 hours during the week and 10-12 hours on weekends. APRNs/PAs Coverage 10:00am-6:00pm, M-F

  • Fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC)

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited ACGME Emergency Medicine training program

  • BC/BE with American Board of Medical Specialties or American Osteopathic Association

  • Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure

  • Ability to obtain and /or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota

  • Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges
