The Program Manager directs a virtual cross-functional team. The position drives clarity by defining and prioritizing the program objectives, critical success factors and deliverables for the team. Additionally, the Program Manager motivates the team and drives a sense of urgency on meeting program commitments. As part of the Leadership Team, the Program Manager works with the Business Team and program leadership team to deliver quality products on time, within budget and with competitive features.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Works closely with Product Definition team to drive product direction for market access, out cost or out innovation

2. Leads program administration: planning and schedule, budget allocation & tracking, program staffing & team organization, communication and issue resolution

3. Drives effective communication across businesses and functions

4. Works with the Business Team and program leadership team to deliver quality products on time, within budget and with competitive features

5. Leads Cross-functional project execution leadership including (but not limited to) concept discussion, program execution, clinical and pilot trials, and product field delivery

6. Identify and communicate potential business risks, along with their retirement plans

7. Ensure the Program resources have necessary skills to execute program

Quality Specific Goals:

1. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position

2. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines

3. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required

4. Drive compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before approving Design Control FDRs and program milestones

5. Identify continuous improvement activities by initiating the implementation of process and product quality improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree, 5 years of experience in Project/Program Management in manufacturing, development or research development

2. Fluent English written and oral communication

3. Demonstrated execution at meeting project goals while satisfying quality, performance, schedule, and budget CTQ’s

4. Demonstrated competency in providing leadership and direction to cross-functional program aspects and resources

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Master’s degree, 8 years project leadership experience within manufacturing, development or research development

2. Strong written and oral communication skills

3. Demonstrated experience on global product releases throughout the entire program lifecycle

4. Strategic planner and thinker with ability to drive change across the segment products

5. Self-starter, energizing, results oriented, and able to multi-task

6. Demonstrated problem solving ability and results orientation and other LEAN skills
