Fast Water Heater Company Fleet Manager in Woodinville, Washington

We are looking for an organized, detailed, seasoned Fleet Manager who is responsible for leading a team of Drivers to transport company goods efficiently. Your duties will include managing a budget for vehicle repairs and replacements and ensuring all of our Drivers receive proper training to uphold safe driving standards. JOB DUTIES:
Maintenance and Repairs:
- Create and follow preventive maintenance schedules to keep vehicles safe and compliant.
- Coordinate inspections, repairs, and manage service provider relationships to minimize unexpected vehicle downtime.
- Work with procurement to order replacement parts.
- Enter and track invoices, ensuring none are missing.
- Coordinate with the warehouse to assign new trucks during repairs.
Fuel Management:
- Track fuel usage and costs.
- Implement fuel-saving strategies.
- Manage fuel cards, purchases, and reconciliations.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Keep up with fleet regulations and compliance.
- Ensure vehicles have required permits and certifications.
- Update tech assignments in proprietary software (we use Spireon and Fleetio).
Budgeting and Cost Control:
- Monitor the fleet budget, including expenses related to maintenance, fuel, and invoice approvals.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize fleet operations while controlling expenses.
Fleet Tracking and Reporting:
- Manage fleet software to track vehicle use, maintenance, and performance.
- Generate reports on fleet usage, costs, and fuel.
- Analyze data to improve efficiency.
- Handle fuel corrections.
- Assign new vehicles to toll and ferry programs as needed.
Safety and Risk Management:
- Work with our Safety Manager to enforce and report safety policies and procedures to minimize accidents and injuries.
Emergency Response and Recovery:
- Develop contingency plans for emergencies such as vehicle breakdowns, accidents, or natural disasters.
- Coordinate response efforts and ensure continuity of fleet operations during emergencies.
- Manage insurance claims and vehicle repairs following accidents or incidents (to be completed with assistance with Compliance and Claims Coordinator).
- Be available for after-hours and weekend tech support calls.
- Travel to each market will be required to assist and maintain fleet accommodations. (Once a month travel)
Vendor and Supplier Management:
- Manage, grow relations and monitor performance with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure cost-effective and reliable support for fleet operations.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on industry trends for better efficiency.
- Promote continuous improvement and innovation.
- Gather feedback and implement improvements.
Assisting Operations Manager with Vehicle Acquisition and Disposal:
Evaluate and recommend appropriate vehicles for fleet needs.
Coordinate the purchase or lease of vehicles, considering factors such as cost, fuel efficiency, and maintenance require
