Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Location: Wilmington, NC

Position Type: Full-Time, Temporary to Permanent (Based on Performance)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Associate to for a client in Wilmington, NC. In this role, you will be responsible for pulling rough-in orders, assisting with general warehouse tasks, and operating a pallet jack to pick orders at ground level. The position requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will need to obtain PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) certification through our company to operate forklifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately pull and prepare orders for shipment.

• Receive, verify, stage, and stock all incoming materials.

• Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, secure, and safe at all times.

• Maintain product knowledge and stay up-to-date on inventory.

• Perform general warehouse tasks, including loading/unloading and organizing materials.

• Comply with all safety guidelines and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management, is preferred.

• Forklift Operator experience is a plus.

• Ability to quickly learn new product knowledge and systems.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Must provide your own steel-toe boots.

Additional Information:

• Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break).

• Work Environment: The warehouse can become hot during the summer months, so candidates should be prepared for varying temperatures.

• PPE and Dress Code: Light industrial attire is required, including safety shoes (steel-toe boots). Dress code details will be provided upon starting.

Potential for Temp-to-Perm Opportunity:

This position has the potential to transition to a permanent role for the right candidate based on job performance and company needs.

Note: Job duties may vary and align with other warehouse positions, including Floater Pipe Yard Inside Associate, Pipe Yard Outside Associate, Receiving Associate, Receiving Clerk, or Returns Associate.

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
