Description

Our client, a welcoming and collaborative boutique law firm specializing in insurance defense, is seeking a dedicated Legal Assistant for a temp-to-perm role. The successful candidate will be experienced with litigation calendaring and be proficient in California e-filing. The role in on site in West Los Angeles.

Responsibilities:

• Litigation calendaring (knowledge of Law Toolbox is a plus)

• Managing state filings and setting up discovery shells

• Maintaining and organizing the system for document storage

• Receiving and directing incoming calls, though this won't be the initial primary role

• Providing support for a team of seven attorneys

  Requirements

• Experience in insurance defense is preferred

• At least 1 year of experience in similar position

• Work hours are from 8am to 5pm, with some flexibility
