Our client, an industry leader in financial services and investment management, has an excellent opportunity for a Principal Software Engineer in Test to work on a 12+month contract opportunity. Work will be a hybrid/remote schedule in Westlake, TX. The Principal Software Engineer in Test support our Marketing Technology team in multiple ways such as defining and driving testing strategy across teams, automation testing, CI/CD build out, analysis, and monitoring tool sets. The outcome of this role will elevate the efficiency and speed at which we not only deliver stable products but deliver quality to our customers.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $58-$68/hr. W2

Responsibilities:

• This team’s support spans across all of PI and provides domain specialists to squads who develop products with the highest customer quality, security, stability, and experience.

• This role will directly support the Marketing Technology product area within the business unit which spans 20+ teams.

• The supported applications include but are not limited to web-based applications, API based applications, and cloud-based solutions.

Experience Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience with architecting automation test platforms and implementing development pipelines (CICD)

• Demonstrated experience with web based and API based automation tool sets such as: Cypress, Selenium, REST Assured, Playwright, and Karate

• Multi-stack engineer with knowledge in a breadth of technologies and test automation frameworks and solutions (Java and Node.js required)

• Ability to work effectively across different technology stacks (Web, Mobile, AP)

• Proven experience with development within the following: Java, JavaScript, Jenkins, uDeploy

• Cloud experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) preferred

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
