The Maintenance Manager is responsible for hands on operations of all facility equipment.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Organize repairs as needed.

• Perform preventative and schedule maintenance on facility equipment.

• Schedule, conduct & document fire and disaster drills.

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and/or plumbing issues.

• Maintain accurate records and logs on maintenance activities.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, & plumbing repair.

• General handy man expertise.

• Knowledge of compressors, generators, & boilers helpful.

• Knowledge of Life Safety Code & State Nursing home regulations.

• Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed.

• Ability to lift 40 pounds.

• Ability to work independently.

Requirements:

• Must have high school education or equivalent.

• Vocational or technical school preferred.

• Strong communication skills.

• Two years experience in nursing home environment.
