Description

We are in search of a Full Charge Bookkeeper to assist a major organization in the Healthcare industry located in Westbury, New York, United States.

Responsibilities:

· Maintain accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions

· Balance accounts by reconciling entries

· Maintain and balance general ledger

· Maintain quality historical records by filing documents

· Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information

· Craft Accounts Receivable invoices, reviewing payments received and record deposits

Requirements

• Comprehensive understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.

• Ability to handle all facets of a company's accounting processes including accounts payable and receivable.

• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding financial information.

• Strong communication skills to interact with internal staff and external clients.

• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.

• Experience with financial reporting and creating financial statements.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Willingness to continuously update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.

• Solid analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
