• Diagnose electrical and other issues for various car makes and models and propose a course of action.
• Repair and replace faulty wiring and electrical components.
• Service electrical automotive parts.
• Install new electronic components into vehicles.
• Maintain and repair electronic components.
• Remove engine block and disassembling it.
• Clean and inspect to determine the condition of the engine.
• Replace damaged parts with new ore refurbished parts, including piston rings, bearings, gaskets, seals, pistons, camshafts, crankshafts, turbines and over.
• Reassemble engine and install back into the vehicle.
• Perform automatic transmission repair as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory time allowance and standards.
• Diagnose cause of automatic transmission malfunction.
• Remove and disassemble transmission unit and perform repair.
• Examine vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
• Install repaired transmission, replace fluids, and make appropriate adjustments.
• Road tests vehicle when required.\ \
