Primary Objective:Responsible for instructional leadership, student and staff supervision, and the daily operations of the building under the direction of the principal. The position includes responsibilities associated with the regular school day, extra-curricular activities, parent and public relations.

Essential Functions:

• Utilize leadership and administrative skills to promote the educational development of every student
• Motivate instructional and support staff to strive for superior performance
• Model and facilitate good human relations skills by effectively interacting with others
• Evaluate teachers and attend meetings as designated by the principal
• Implement policies, regulations, and directives of the School Board and Superintendent
• Coordinate teacher evaluation
• Develop and administer the budget
• Coordinate the curriculum
• Make teaching assignments
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Ph.D./Ed.D./Specialist in school administration preferred
• Educational administrative experience preferred
• Minimum of five years teaching experience
• Must meet state certification requirements
