Position: Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient

Location: Waynesboro, VA

Schedule: PRN, as needed

Compensation: $28.00 - $35.00/hour

We are seeking a PRN physical therapist assistant (PTA) to help on an as-needed basis. While our centers typically operate Monday through Friday, our flexible scheduling lets you craft a schedule that's suited to your unique lifestyle!

At Select Physical Therapy, we take pride in creating an exceptional patient experience, helping our patients get back to athletics, work, life, and the things they love.Our Waynesboro clinic is seeking a per diem licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for our outpatient orthopedic center. We treat a diverse population of teens through geriatrics offering general ortho, sports and industrial specialty services.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.

• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures

• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program

• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE

• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)

• CPR certification
