Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an HR Director located in the Greater Philadelphia area. This HR Director role will involve strategic HR leadership, talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits administration, compliance and risk management, HR metrics and reporting, and HR team leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and put into action HR strategies that align with the company's business objectives.

  • Serve as a reliable consultant to top management on all HR-related concerns.

  • Spearhead initiatives for the company's organizational development to boost performance.

  • Create, apply and manage holistic hiring strategies to draw in high-quality talent.

  • Supervise the entire recruitment process, ensuring it is time and cost effective.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to establish employer branding campaigns to present the company favorably to potential employees.

  • Cultivate a positive office environment that enhances employee involvement and longevity.

  • Handle and resolve concerns related to employee relations swiftly and efficiently.

  • Execute programs designed to boost employee contentment and longevity.

  • Design and manage performance evaluation systems that aid in the progression and nurturing of employees.

  • Offer advice on establishing performance benchmarks and conducting appraisals.

  • Carry out training and development initiatives to aid employee advancement.

    Requirements

The ideal HR Director will have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is preferred.

Other requirements for the HR Director role include and are not limited to:

  • 8+ years of progressive HR experience with a family owned, professional services or partnership company

  • 3+ years in a senior HR leadership role.

  • Proficiency in HRIS and other HR-related software.

  • Strong emphasis is on results, and effective systems that achieve results through and with people

  • Ability to develop and implement strategic HR initiatives, in a practical and timely fashion

  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
