Overview TRC is seeking a Full time candidate for a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to perform quality assurance inspections at our client\'s site in Schofield, Wisconsin. Responsibilities The prospective candidate(s) must have experience in structural steel fabrication inspection code requirements, including witnessing and reporting NDT performed. Current AWS CWI Certification NDT Level II certifications: MT, UT Job Duties Familiarity and experience with AWS D1.1. Perform third-party structural steel fabrication quality assurance inspection and reporting Utilize applicable ASTM construction specifications Read and interpret shop drawings, specifications, and project special provisions to verify compliance with material quality Ability to work closely with other fabrication, construction, and quality personnel in a courteous and professional manner Perform Visual (VT) Testing inspection per AWS D1.1 Code requirements. Ability to use the following: Laptop computer, cell (smart) phone, scanner, and printer Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Word, the internet, report writing, and file (photograph and other) attachments.
