The Sr. Director of Global Product Management – Diagnostic Cardiology (DCAR) is a key member of the DCAR Staff, responsible for product definition, planning, specification, development, and commercialization of all products within the DCAR business Portfolio. This includes leading the team of DCAR Product Managers as well as being responsible for the product portfolio strategy and execution as part of GE HealthCare’s worldwide product plan.

Roles and Responsibilities
The Sr. Director of Global Product Management – Diagnostic Cardiology (DCAR) will lead the team of DCAR Product Managers as well as be responsible for the direction of our product portfolio.
This includes:
Lead our product teams to deliver meaningful new product introductions with predictability and speed.
Coordinate wing-to-wing across our product development lifecycle and across GE HealthCare to build solutions tailored to Diagnostic Cardiology across the Cardiology solutions care pathway.
Uncover customer insights, develop and align DCAR and digital product strategies to these insights.
Drive best practices for product development organizational excellence.
Mentor & guide our product management organization as a best-in-class team.
Own the strategic product roadmap & customer feature sets decisions based on customer value propositions and market viability.
Own the product development scope, provide product inputs to engineering team for technical scope and user requirement development.
Own the business case and justification for NPI investment.
Partner with product marketing and regions on competitive analysis and ensures that features and capabilities across the product roadmap are competitive in our target markets.
Track/measure customer success and product performance via operational metrics scorecards & actions.
Work closely with engineering, design, quality assurance, regulatory, support, service, sales, and marketing teams to ensure the product solution meets the customer needs and supports overall business strategy and goals.
Include innovative AI, SaaS, and digital solutions into product roadmap.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in product marketing, product management, product development, clinical, or related field
A strong clinical understanding of Cardiology workflows and solutions.
Desired Characteristics
Prior experience in a leadership role with direct reports
Demonstrated Product Management experience and capability within the healthcare industry.
A thorough understanding of the technical tradeoffs necessary to develop technology in a predictable fashion.
A charismatic leader who can build and manage effective teams and inspire sales organizations based on credibility.
Ability to work effectively within a large global environment.
Experience collaborating directly with customers, developing key relationships and working with marketing, commercial, and evidence generation teams to quantify value.
Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
