Description:

Completes the day-to-day processes related to Medical Staff enrollment and other various Medical Staff functions and Third Party Payor/Revenue Cycle processing. Adheres to MercyOne's performance expectations and performs all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of MercyOne.

What you will Do:

  • Third Party Payer Enrollment Coordinator Responsibilities

  • Serves as insurance enrollment coordinator for physicians who bill under the MercyOne Northeast Iowa tax ID

  • Provides leadership and quality customer service to the Medical Staff and system stakeholders to promptly solve enrollment problems and resolve billing issues related to payer enrollment.

  • Uses written and verbal communication to provide progress updates to the Medical Staff members and other system leaders related to provider enrollment.

  • Serves as a health system liaison to the insurance companies and builds positive relationships with their representatives. Also maintains positive relationships with health system leaders.

*Minimum Qualifications: *    

  • Associate’s degree in health related field preferred

  • 3 – 4 years knowledge of health care operations or medical staff services experience
