Project/Task Sr Manager

Seize your opportunity to make a personal impact as a Project/Task Manager supporting the ATLAS contract under Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) International Operations (IO) programs, particularly the Management & Program Analysis (MPA) activities supporting government leadership's administrative, performance, and strategic planning needs. HOW A PROJECT/TASK MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

● Manages and is responsible for the successful completion of all tasks in assigned project. Supervises a dedicated team of specialists directly supporting IO leadership.

● Leads and coordinates the budgeting, logistics, performance analysis, strategic planning, training, and web services used by IO leadership to support IO missions around the world.

● Coordinates logistical support activities for IO staff conducting training, deploying overseas, traveling for investigative and/or law enforcement activities, and other logistics as needed

● Assists with reporting to IO leadership, resource management, addresses ad hoc and special taskings, and identifies opportunities to enhance and improve the various IO mission tasks, and more.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

● Education: Master’s Degree and five (5) years of supervisory experience or eight (8) years of supervisory experience and Bachelor’s Degree in lieu of a Masters.

● Required Experience: Must have five (5) years of experience supporting law enforcement or intelligence related work. Managing staff in an international programmatic office or in a federal law enforcement environment. Coordinating with Agency Senior Leadership, including at the SES level, on strategic communications and analytics as it relates to law enforcement or international programmatic office data.

● Required Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP)

● Security Clearance Level: Must obtain and maintain a favorable background investigation for access to sensitive but unclassified information.

● Required Skills and Abilities: Must possess knowledge of immigration policy and procedures as they relate to non-immigrant visitors and visa classifications. Managing comprehensive teams that comprise of project management and intelligence research support. Thorough knowledge of identity intelligence operations, intelligence and interagency processes and procedures.

● Preferred Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, including statistical analysis, data visualization, and predictive modeling.

The likely salary range for this position is $116,979 - $157,550. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
