We are seeking a Systems Engineer to provide exceptional assistance for technical issues related to building systems. In this role, you will respond to customer calls, utilize a ticketing platform to assess problems, and deliver clear, accurate solutions to ensure client satisfaction. What You Will Do:
Work within a ticketing system to diagnose and troubleshoot remote issues with building management systems.
Answer customer calls by telephone and/or email to determine the nature of the problem, assessing customer needs and providing clear and accurate responses.
Provide remote technical support to installers and customers; on-site support may also be required.
Triage alarms and create work order dispatches using third-party platforms.
Clearly articulate resolutions to customer problems in both verbal and written communication, ensuring explanations are understandable.
Perform system analysis and diagnostics, isolating and troubleshooting problems with corrective action when possible.
Document problems and resolutions, reporting findings to the Account Executive for customer follow-up.
If needed, recreate customer problems in-house to test solutions.
Keep customers and CBRE|Smart FM management informed of any outstanding or recurring issues with products, services, or customers.
Regularly communicate suggested improvements for customer interactions with CBRE|Smart FM.
What You Will Need:
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in HVAC, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
Work history in HVAC or a similar industry.
Knowledge of Tridium Niagara 4.
Experience in customer support or a similar role is an asset.
Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
Experience with control and HVAC systems and their terminology.
Experience in customer support over the phone and via a ticketing system.
Thorough knowledge of Windows-based computers and desktop applications such as MS Word and MS Excel.
