Expected salary range of $156,600 to $174,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

Provide management of the commercial support services function with respect to station needs and regulatory requirements.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Manage and develop a group of engineers that will oversee feasibility studies and design activities for new build/commercial projects. Applies experience to ensure feasibility studies provide accurate assessments of projects and outcomes for business cases. Coordinate with Nuclear & Power engineering counterparts to ensure project scope is clearly delineated and understood.Ensure technical deliverables are reviewed in a timely manner and challenged thoroughly for technical adequacy. Possess knowledge of design standards/procedures and regulatory guidance applicable to support potential projects that interface with power plants.Manage the performance and development of assigned engineering personnel relative to site and corporate objectives and provide focus on the attainment of high-quality engineering results. Participate in business performance reviews for assigned engineers.Directly and through subordinates, fulfill engineering and technical leadership accountability regarding short-term and long-term projects. Interface with site engineering managers as needed to obtain the information needed to successfully complete assigned projects. Ensure that engineering activities are conducted in accordance with design standards, company procedures, and regulatory requirements.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • BS Degree in Engineering or Licensed Professional Engineer
    • 5+ years Engineering experience with 5+ years Power Plant, Industrial or Manufacturing experience
    • Power Generation Experience
    • Demonstrated technical leadership (e.g. Duty Team Lead, Inspection Lead)
    • Successful FLS Selection Testing

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Professional Engineering Registration
    • Advanced technical degree, MBA
