Operations Supervisor
Location: Work on site
Hours: Hours – 9:00am-6pm est. and 11:30am-8:30pm est. alternating weeks (Monday Through Thursday)
As an Operations Supervisor - Fulfillment , you will be responsible for day-to-day operations of a team of associates in Pharmacy Operations monitoring productivity and performance standards while planning and directing workflow and project assignments. Responsible for attaining or exceeding production goals for their respective area daily. Conducts hiring, training, and evaluation of front line team members. Responsible for team’s adherence to employment policies and corporate values. Works with the Pharmacy senior leadership team to establish team and site standards and expectations, operational processes and procedures, and the business work plan for the team. Recognizes and recommends operational improvements.
What you'll do:
Supervises the team of the senior pharmacy technician associates in one or more sites. Works to develop employee’s supervisory skills, evaluates performance and provides feedback, and oversees resolution of employee relations issues. Oversees hiring and training of new associates.
Develops and tracks compliance to quality, productivity, and service standards.
Works with Operations Director to develop strategic business work plan goals. Tracks and periodically reports progress to senior management. Assist with Budget Planning.
Implement programs and process improvements to enhance the level of internal and external customer service provided. Work with operations management to analyze operations and overall efficiencies of the senior pharmacy technician teams.
Serve as a point of escalation for issues requiring a higher degree of expertise or discretion to resolve. Represents pharmacy operations in cross-functional meetings and projects.
Special projects as assigned.
What you need to do the job:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Relevant operations experience (i.e., pharmacy, warehouse, distribution, production, manufacturing, or engineering)
Demonstrated leadership capabilities; 2-3 years supervisory experience preferred
PC knowledge including Microsoft applications
Knowledge of pharmacy regulations a plus
Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to effectively develop, train and coach less experienced team members with the patience to explain details and processes repeatedly.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment, make independent decisions
Advanced problem solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve complex issues with innovative solutions
Willingness to work a flexible schedule for peak times
