Wolters Kluwer Sales Trainer - eLearning Developer in Waltham, Massachusetts
*This is a Hybrid role requiring 2 days a week in a Wolters Kluwer office*
The eLearning Developer will play an essential role in the on-going learning and development of employees within the organization. The Sales Trainer will be heavily responsible for the development of pedagogically sound eLearning materials in accordance with department standards and directives. They will also assist the Senior Designer in the design of materials. The eLearning Developer will report directly to the CEGTE eLearning Manager.
Responsibilities
Gather information and course elements from SMEs; often guiding SMEs in the chunking of content
Design and develop learning material, coordinate, and review educational content, and incorporate current technology in developing specific eLearning curricula
Support eLearning material management by updating project trackers and collaborating with organization SMEs and training team
Collaborate with other eLearning professionals (internal or external) to support eLearning content requirements
Develop supporting materials and media (audio, video, photos, graphics, etc.) for courses based on curriculum guidelines or information provided by or in consultation with subject matter experts, the Senior Sales Trainer, or eLearning Manager
Conduct quality assurance on all eLearning materials
Performs other duties as assigned
Education and Experience
BS/BA Degree or equivalent experience preferred
1-3 years’ experience in a training role/function
Fluent in English
Strong proficiency in development stages of the ADDIE model
Strong lesson and curriculum planning skills
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Strong ability to interface effectively with SMEs
Strong attention to detail
Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing shifting priorities
Strong proficiency with Articulate Storyline and Rise
Experience with xAPI coding preferred
Ability to learn new authoring tools quickly
Experience using remote conferencing tools such as Teams, WebEx, Adobe, etc.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office products
Proficiency with various multimedia hardware and software (Camtasia, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
Compensation:
Target salary range CA, CT, CO, DC, HI, IL, MD, MN, NY, RI, WA:: $76,350 - $105,700
