Overview: The dishwasher is critical to maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of the kitchen, ensuring a safe and seamless dining experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Dishwashing: Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and kitchen tools using industrial dishwashing equipment or by hand as needed.
- Kitchen cleanliness: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing floors, counters, and equipment.
- Waste management: Properly sort and dispose of trash, recycling, and compost materials in compliance with restaurant policies.
- Supply restocking: Restock clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen tools to their designated areas to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Equipment maintenance: Monitor the dishwashing equipment for proper operation and notify management of any issues.
- Health and safety compliance: Follow all food safety, sanitization, and workplace safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a dishwashing or similar role preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Dependability, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
