Senior Electrical Engineer

SUMMARY:

Aeroseal is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer. The Senior Electrical Engineer will be deeply involved in design hardware, electronics circuits, control systems for product changes and new development. Uses software tools or applications to perform routine analysis to predict performance of electronic circuits or control systems and identifies design improvements by evaluating results. Contributes to reliability analysis such as risk assessments and Failure Mode Effects Analysis by compiling and examining data. Coordinating with project leads to produce project deliverables by assessing input requirements and applying functional specifications. Develops relationships through excellent communication skills and acts as a key resource to provide innovative solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • BS and 5+ years of experience or MS with 3+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering

  • Experience in designing electrical and control circuits in Altium.

  • Knowledge in STM32 and ESP32 microcontroller and NXP based microprocessor

  • Design experience in board layout using RF Modules

  • Proficient in the use of multiple compliers, debuggers and IDE's

  • Knowledge and hands on experience with communication standards (CAN, MODBUS and TCP/IP)

  • Experience with C/C++ and python programming language for embedded systems.

  • (preferred) Experience in structured design, code reusability and best practices for embedded systems.

  • (preferred) experience with data acquisition systems

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and build (electrical and Control Systems)

  • Participate in design reviews at all levels; proposal, standards, project, etc.

  • Analyze customer and product management requirements and participate in proposal development activities.

  • Investigate and suggest architecture and technology enhancements.

  • Project tasks completed on schedule and under budget.

  • Project tasks completed to specifications and checked for accuracy.

  • Coordinate with other departments as necessary to satisfy project requirements.

  • Provide industry specific application knowledge and direction.

  • Develop project requirements and design specifications

  • Certification for new products - FCC and CE.

The estimated pay range for this role is $90,000-$145,000. Actual pay is based on various factors including, but not limited to, the successful candidate's experience, skills, knowledge, and job location. Please note that the compensation details listed in role postings reflect the base salary and do not include bonuses or benefits.
