We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Senior Cloud Architect for a Full-Time remote position.

Job Summary:

As a Senior Cloud Architect , you will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for cloud end-to-end architecture, including Azure, GCP, AWS, and future providers. You will demonstrate strong leadership skills, develop and evaluate architectural solutions, define optimal design patterns, and drive the technical design and implementation of cloud solutions. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet both technical and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for cloud end-to-end architecture, including Azure, GCP, AWS, and future providers.

• Demonstrate leadership by backing decisions with research, articulating options with pros and cons, and making informed recommendations.

• Develop solutions architecture and evaluate architectural alternatives.

• Define optimal design patterns and solutions for high availability and disaster recovery for applications.

• Drive scope definition, requirements analysis, functional and technical design, application build, product configuration, unit testing, and production deployment.

• Ensure that delivered solutions meet and perform to technical and functional/non-functional requirements.

• Provide technical expertise and ownership in diagnosing and resolving issues, including determining and providing workaround solutions or escalating to service owners.

• Ensure that delivered solutions are realized within the committed time frames; collaborate with project sponsors to size and manage scope and risk.

• Provide thought leadership in the industry and to fellow team members across business and technical project dimensions, solving complex business requirements.

Required Skills and Expertise:

• DevSecOps and Secure Coding practices, and the Solutions Development Framework (Docker, Jenkins, GitLab).

• Expertise in Cloud Architecture, Design, and Development.

• Knowledge of business process re-engineering principles and processes.

• Strong understanding of network architecture and application development methodologies.

• Experience in developing multithreaded apps, performance tuning, and debugging.

• Knowledge/experience with Agile Methodologies and SDLC practices.

• Proficiency in Change Management and Configuration Management (VersionOne, ServiceNow, etc.).

• Experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).

Required Experience:

• 7+ years of experience in designing large and complex IT operations within large organizations.

• Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with high-performing teams and Executive Leadership.

• Experience with Azure, GCP, or AWS enterprise implementations.

• Knowledge of business process re-engineering principles and processes.

• Strong understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), object-oriented analysis and design, and client/server systems.

Educational Requirements:

• A degree from an accredited College or University in a relevant field is preferred.

• If the candidate does not possess a relevant college degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required.
