Applied Research Associates, Inc. Jr Security Specialist in United States

Description

  • What you’ll do as a Jr. Security Specialist

  • Help manage the corporate security program

  • Contribute to maintaining and managing corporate security SharePoint sites

  • Assist with corporate security processes and plan writing

  • Assist with Physical security compliance efforts by ensuring adherence to company policies and industry regulations

  • Support the Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) program by implementing proper handling, storage, and dissemination procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements

  • Provide support for personnel security to include initiating and maintaining clearance requirement, training, foreign travel briefings, maintaining personnel databases

  • Support other corporate security initiatives as needed

  • Act as a point of contact for general security related matters

  • Advise on security policies and procedures to ensure compliance

  • Jr. Security Specialist Requirements

  • Active or Inactive Secret Security Clearance with ability to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance

  • Knowledge, experience, and understanding of Industrial Security

  • Demonstrate the ability to help manage and oversee comprehensive security programs

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and meticulous attention to detail

  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively

  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment

  • Occasional travel to ARA offices as needed
