    JOB OVERVIEW

    The Manager, Business Intelligence & Strategy will lead the development and execution of data-driven strategies to support decision-making, operational efficiency, and competitive positioning that directly support the areas of corporate growth, business development, and business operations. This role involves overseeing BI initiatives, managing analytics, and leveraging data to enhance business growth and operational effectiveness across the organization. The role will work closely with Corporate Executives, Business Unit Executives, and technical subject matter experts to develop growth/BD strategies and solutions that contribute to the growth objectives at the corporate and business unit levels.

    The position is highly visible across all levels of the company with responsibility for data collection/research, evaluation, and analysis that enhances decision-making through the use of metrics and key performance indicators.

    The candidate for this position should exhibit strong writing and speaking skills, have excellent attention to detail, and a record of experience communicating and collaborating across all stakeholders in the organization and with executives. The successful candidate will have experience with Business Intelligence tools, software, and applications.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Develop and implement a BI strategy aligned with the company's objectives for growth and business development supporting each of the Federal Solutions lines of business and addressable client markets.

  • Leverage actionable business intelligence, analyses, and market data to inform a strategic growth plan and three-year new business pipeline supporting Federal Solutions capabilities and clients.

  • Manage the collection, analysis, and interpretation of datasets to provide actionable insights for decision-makers leveraging BI tools, data, and analytics to ensure optimal performance and security.

  • Work closely with executive leadership, program managers, and other internal stakeholders to align BI capabilities with business needs.

  • Assess federal government contracting trends, competitor activity, and geopolitical developments to support strategic planning, business development, and corporate growth objectives.

  • Recommend data-driven improvements to enhance productivity, cost-effectiveness, and efficiencies in business operations and business development.

  • Provide data insights for business development, capture management, proposal development, and cost estimation.

    QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors degree

  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrated and related experience in Business Intelligence supporting the Government Contracting sector.

  • Minimum 10 years of combined experience in the areas of business development and proposal development in the Government Contracting sector.

  • Demonstrated experience managing a corporate level pipeline across multiple business units.

  • Expert level knowledge of BD CRM tools and pipeline management at the corporate level.

  • Expert level knowledge of the Federal Government contracting process and expertise in business development pipeline strategy development/management.

  • Expert proficiency with MS PowerBI, MS Office Suite, and standard BD CRM tools supporting the Government Contracting sector.

  • Expert level knowledge of information sources that inform Government Contracting BD to include GovWin, Bloomberg Government, FPDS, etc.

  • Proven ability to develop and implement business intelligence strategies that inform decisions for corporate growth and maximize efficiencies across the organization.

  • Expert level proficiency in BI Tools/applications and MS Office products.

  • Ability to work in a dynamic, schedule-driven, results-oriented environment that is highly visible at the C-suite level.

    DESIRED QUALIFCATIONS

  • SharePoint experience is a plus

  • Understanding of the Shipley's Methodology is highly desired

  • Active DOD Secret Clearance

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

  • Inside office environment that will majority consist of on-site work at MartinFed's corporate office in downtown Huntsville, AL. Some telework may be allowed.

  • The work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated. Some walking, standing, bending, reaching, and carrying light items such as papers and books.

  • Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard and other office equipment.

  • The work environment is fast-paced and sometimes involves extreme deadline pressures.

  • The nature of the work requires a high degree of teamwork and cooperation with other members of the staff as well as individuals across the Company and Customers/Teammates.
