Join GE Appliances as a Water Heater Area Sales Manager to lead and expand our plumbing product sales across the East Region! In this role, you’ll drive growth of our water heaters, disposals, and water treatment solutions by working closely with regional Area Sales Managers (ASMs) and key stakeholders to capture new market opportunities. Your mission? Deliver exceptional customer experiences, build strategic partnerships, and develop innovative sales approaches. This position will connect with distributors, enhance current accounts, and work with national teams to implement impactful regional growth strategies.

How You'll Create Possibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead plumbing product sales within the East Region, targeting national and regional distributors.

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities, building a robust territory pipeline.

  • Collaborate with ASMs to design and execute effective sales strategies that align with market growth goals.

  • Deliver engaging product presentations and training to communicate the value of GE Appliances’ Air & Water solutions.

  • Leverage sales data to inform strategy and meet product-specific sales goals.

  • Ensure prompt, accurate resolution of customer needs and build long-term credibility with clients.

  • Travel required - 50%+ within the territory.

What You'll Bring to Our Team

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in outside sales with experience in plumbing products such as water heaters and water treatment systems.

  • Proven ability to approach challenges with resilience, innovative problem-solving, and a growth mindset.

  • Previous experience with plumbing or HVAC industry sales via distributors, 3rd-party reps, or OEMs.

  • Experience working collaboratively in a team-focused environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

  • Demonstrated success in developing growth plans and navigating multi-channel sales strategies.

  • Strong skills in communication, presentation, organization, and negotiation.

Location & Work Hours:

This is a remote role based on the East Region (MI, IN, TN, KY, LA, MS and all states East) , operating during Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours. Relocation assistance is not available. This role will have 50% travel.

GE Appliances offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package, including 401(k), medical, dental, and vision healthcare plans, as well as paid vacation. The base salary range for this role is $83,600 - $150,600 . Your actual salary will be determined based on your experience, skills, and alignment with the role's requirements and responsibilities.
