Job Description

The System Offices is one of several system members within the Texas A&M University System representing one of the largest systems of higher education in the nation, with a network of 11 universities, a comprehensive health science center, eight state agencies, and the RELLIS Campus. Salary:

$4,180.17 - $7,000.00 per month commensurate with experience.

Job Description Summary:

Works under general supervision and provides highly advanced administrative support.

Responsibilities:- Provide task support to the Assistant to the Board as requested.- Assist with Board Meetings to include; compilation & distribution of agenda materials (electronic & paper copies), indexing, preparation of various meeting scripts, meeting notices & agendas, and provide onsite coordination and support.- Assist with special event planning and execution.- Assist with BOR football game day support.- Assist with preparing schedules to include: monthly event schedule for Regents, tracking of Regent event attendance and data input for various office and Regent schedules.- Maintain and distribute office lists and directories.- Prepare and proofread correspondence and other documentation for the Board Office.- Backup supervisor for student workers.- Assist with electronic filing system and records retention.- Assist with scanning of meeting materials.- Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:- Bachelor's degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.- Seven years of related experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.- Excellent written communication, analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skill- Ability to work in a high stress environment.- Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.- Ability to work independently once given a project.- Ability to work beyond normal office hours and/or work on weekends.

  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
