Job Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly motivated candidate for the position of AVP – Technical Project Manager within Information Technology Department under Asian Systems Office. The candidate will report to the VP – Operations Solutions , and drive solutions that uplift the operational capability for processing transactions while keeping the systems stable.

  • Active engagement in stakeholder management, ensuring clear communication and solid relationships with all relevant parties

  • Incorporating agile methodologies into project management practices as and when required

  • Ensuring all project deliverables align with company standards and meet stakeholder expectations

  • Participating in regular review meetings and provide status updates to stakeholders

  • Preparing necessary documentation and reports for assigned projects

  • Lead onshore and offshore development teams on projects, ensuring adherence to set timelines and quality standards

  • Oversee the entire software development lifecycle from conception to completion

  • Apply robust .Net or Java expertise to streamline development processes and push for innovative solutions

  • Handle project risks effectively and implement mitigation strategies

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather technical requirements and ensure they align with set business goals

  • Develop and maintain project documentation and progress reports to communicate with stakeholders

  • Supervise and organize the integration of cutting-edge technologies into existing systems

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and industry best practices in all procedures

  • Facilitate communication and collaboration within project teams and across cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in a similar industry

  • Experience as a Project Manager in a technical environment with hands-on .Net or Java development experience

  • Experience in stakeholder management

  • Proficiency in project management software/tools

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment

  • Proactive problem solver with a keen eye for detail and ability to work under pressure

  • Must hold relevant certifications and/or have completed professional trainings in project management

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

  • Strong project management and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications: Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) preferred.
