Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Manager

Location: Australia or New Zealand (Office based / Hybrid or Home based)

Position Summary:

Join our optimization team as a Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Manager for Bentley.com and our associated web properties. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead strategies that enhance user experience and conversion paths across our digital platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand user behavior, optimize web content, and drive meaningful growth through innovative experimentation and personalized digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: Build and lead the execution of the CRO strategy to drive acquisition, conversion, and retention across all digital platforms.

  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Creative, and Product teams to enhance and optimize landing pages, ensuring alignment with brand messaging, market timing, and implementation capabilities.

  • Experimentation and Optimization: Develop and manage an ongoing experimentation roadmap. Implement strategic tests and analyze their performance to continuously refine and elevate the user experience.

  • Data Analysis: Monitor and analyze page performance and user behavior. Generate insights and data-driven hypotheses to improve the customer journey and increase conversion rates.

  • Insight Generation: Develop a profound understanding of site visitors by partnering with Analytics, Engineering, and Consumer Insights teams. Use these insights to inform and adjust the digital strategy.

  • Performance Measurement: Collaborate with the Analytics team to define and maintain a robust measurement framework. Track critical metrics, analyze website performance, and conduct forecasting to support strategic decisions.

  • SEO and Content Optimization: Partner with the Content Marketing team to integrate SEO best practices and content strategies that enhance site visibility and conversion efficiency.

  • Personalization: Utilize advanced personalization tools to create targeted and compelling digital experiences for various audiences and channels.

  • Process Improvement: Define and implement optimization and experimentation processes to enhance team productivity and efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in CRO, digital marketing, or a similar role.

  • Strong analytical skills and experience with A/B testing, user analytics, and performance metrics.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with Optimization & Personalization Tools AND Proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).

  • Experience with SEO strategies and content management systems.

  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.

  • Ability to think creatively and strategically to solve complex problems.

  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
