Multi-Media Designer (Consultant)-2

Overview

The Data & Services team is a key differentiator for Mastercard, providing the cutting-edge services that help our customers grow. Centred on data-driven technologies and innovation, this team provides consulting, marketing, loyalty and analytics to financial institutions and merchants globally. Marketing Services is the team within D&S that develops and executes the marketing programs that help our clients achieve their marketing goals. The Advisors Creative Desk sits within D&S and is responsible for ideating and creating engaging, forward-thinking, on-brand content solutions that connect our advertising partners, platforms, and our portfolio of brands.

As a Multi-Media Designer you will have a creative flair, relish working in a fast-paced environment and be able to manage multiple project deliverables. You will be part a diverse team supporting clients across Asia Pacific in various verticals, so an ability to pivot from one brand to the next is critical. An interest in exploring new programs and tools, such as GenAI to improve work efficiencies and quality is a plus, as is exposure to UX/UI strategy and creative execution.

Role

General

• Working closely with Creative Desk Project Managers, Art Director and Copywriters to ensure end-to-end development and delivery of campaigns for assigned customers.

• Maintain quality, accuracy and consistency of content and design across all mediums to best industry practice standards and client branding guidelines by ensuring all output is checked and errors minimised.

Graphic Design

• Email / banner design - ability to produce graphical design elements - Adobe Creative Cloud

• Produce creative guidelines to ensure consistency of brand and creative across all mediums.

• Optimising graphic elements/image resizing

• Assist in live event and studio production, including setting a stage, lighting a set, and shooting footage w/video or still camera

Motion & Videography

• Editing video footage and adding effects/elements to enhance motion graphics

• Organize and maintain video files, including following best practices for version control, naming conventions, and organization of graphic files;

• Take an initial concept to the next level with motion graphics and animations, including 2D and 3D animations;

UI/UX

• Able to design optimal user experience and interface for web, app and email

• Build UI/UX recommendations into prototypes and working files

CRM (beneficial)

• Developing emails in HTML5, developing emails that are template driven and consist of conditional blocks

• Ensuring rendering consistency of email campaigns across multiple clients (Gmail, Hotmail, Outlook) and browser versions

• Troubleshooting technical issues related to HTML5 templates, segmentation and other aspects of email execution as required.

• Keeping abreast of and recommends email marketing best practice with coding, design and testing of campaigns

• Performing day-to-day email marketing activities including, but not limited to, email campaign set-up, scheduling, testing, tagging and deployment of one-time, recurring, triggered and dynamically content-driven campaigns using a variety of email management systems

All About You

• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite including; After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator and Photoshop

• HTML5 proficient

• Strong portfolio of design work, showing solution to business problems through effective design

• Experience in UX based webpage, app and email design, and UI design standards, figma proficient

• Exposure to content management systems (CMS)

• Ability to write logic based queries and define new audience types, back-end coding language knowledge would be advantageous

• Experience executing campaigns in social media channels (ie facebook, Instagram, Youtube, TikTok)

• Bachelor degree qualified, with post graduate qualifications in creative or digital marketing
