You’ll be essential to the success of our company through the championing of security awareness. You’ll serve as a trusted advisor, facilitating collaboration and fostering relationships between multiple teams.

Red Hat embraces a remote working culture and promotes work flexibility. Our team is predominantly remote, and you are welcome to work from home.

What you will do

  • Develop and execute program plans, ensuring proper resource allocation, progress tracking and risk management to support SDLC improvements.

  • Manage cross-functional relationships to align teams on process improvements and ensure seamless implementation across the organization.

  • Work closely with Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Product Management to understand challenges, define solutions and drive continuous improvement in SDLC practices.

  • Use Jira and other tools (Smartsheets, Miro, etc) to develop and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring transparency, accountability, and alignment with program objectives.

  • Stay up to date with evolving software development methodologies and industry best practices, assess their impact on SDLC operations, and drive process and policy improvements.

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify emerging trends and recommend enhancements to SDLC processes.

What you will bring

  • Attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.

  • Ability to draft clear communications and other written documentation.

  • Ability to effectively manage priorities and work independently with minimal guidance.

  • Excellent communication and listening skills.

  • Solid leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across all levels.

  • Proficiency in program management and project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Lean, Waterfall) and their practical applications within the SDLC.

  • Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile (e.g., CSM) are preferred.
