Emerson Finance Systems Analyst in Hungary

The Finance IT organization is currently seeking an experienced Systems Analyst (SA) to join our global team. The SA will serve as part of a highly skilled global team who drive system efficiencies, production support and process improvements for the Finance function worldwide. The SA will work in an Agile Development team that develops and supports enterprise software solutions. Working with both the business areas and the development teams, the SA will work on the full development life cycle from project initiation through implementation and post-support.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Become a functional and systems expert in one or more Finance business areas including business processes, purpose, rules, logic, and data.

  • Drive business effectiveness and efficiency through innovation, flexibility, and alignment with technology.

  • Define, analyze, and prioritize business threats and opportunities including cost/benefit analysis.

  • Implement projects using SDLC/Agile methodologies and practices.

  • Develop project management plans including but not limited to scope, schedule, resource planning, setup, testing, communication to stakeholders, training, documentation, post implementation support, support handover, etc.

  • Support production critical issues and implement continuous improvements, including severity 1 issues which may take priority from time to time.

  • Proactively establish processes, systems, and procedures to support, analyze and control Financial business activities.

Who You Are:

  • Develop proficient-level expertise in respective business area and makes suggestions on priorities using project management tools.

  • Work well with end-users.

  • Prepare effective and concise written material (requirements/status/training).

  • Be a mentor to junior/new employees.

In This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Professional Degree in Accounting or professional accounting qualification with a minimum of 3 years of related experience.

  • Experience working experience as a Business Analyst, Business System Analyst, System Analyst, IT Project Management or equivalent.

  • Experience using & enhancing large scale integrated financial reporting systems, preferably Oracle e-Business suite, Oracle EPM Cloud and Tableau will be an added advantage.

  • Demonstrate strong project management and organizational skills.

  • Strong starter, self-motivated, adaptable, must be proactive, able to deal with ambiguity and work under pressure.
