Oracle Program Manager in Czech Republic

Job Description

We’re looking for a talented program manager to join our team in Brno. You’ll be part of a team working towards accelerating the evolution of our product, processes and technology with the goal of delivering an extraordinary user and developer experience.

Your primary goal will be to drive the program management functions related to product software development for an innovative product development initiative. You will serve as a senior strategic program manager and agile specialist helping to shape and manage longer-term initiatives that are designed to support broader, strategic business outcomes.

You are expected to have a deep understanding of agile concepts, to coordinate agile ceremonies, and to encourage and coach and agile mindset throughout the product development lifecycle. You will be responsible for helping teams improve their workflow and help ensure critical processes are followed and continuously improved as needed. This person needs to be able to embrace ambiguity and help drive change throughout the various product development teams and within program management.

You thrive on working well with others, with different knowledge levels and capabilities. You make the people around you better and incorporate ideas and inspiration from internal and external sources. You love to collaborate with designers, user researchers, engineers, product managers, executives, and inspire them to do their best.

You love rules and you know when to challenge them. You think systemically because you know that efficiency is not created in a vacuum. You know when to do something completely unique and when to trust your past experiences.

You don’t already know everything and you love to learn. You are an independent, self-motivated, and creative professional - capable of adapting quickly to a fast-paced environment. This is an active hands-on role that will require a program manager who can break down complex challenges. You must also have an extremely developed ability to create relationships and impeccable attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Define and oversee a list of dependent projects or programs needed to reach the strategic program’s overall goals.

Articulate a program’s strategy and objectives and assess how it will impact a business.

Ensure teams are maximizing how they are organized by collaborating, communicating, and managing risks and dependencies in order to help teams reach their strategic goals and meet long-term targets.

Guide how strategic plans are operationalized using agile methodologies

Hands-on creative problem solving in a cloud-driven enterprise software system.

Facilitate agile ceremonies and small-group discussions.

Help to define, train and implement innovative processes.

Help communicate status and progress.
