ManpowerGroup Bus Dev Dir (MP Can) in Canada

Purpose

• The Business Development Director (BDD) is responsible for selling large scale, comprehensive ManpowerGroup services to clients, primarily focused on new business development. The BDD will be focused on new clients or new sites within a portfolio including client management

Making an Impact

• Lead and support discovery sessions and lend expertise on service capabilities, methodologies, and offerings to client throughout the sales process

• Finalize solution designs, conduct risk assessments, cost/profitability analyses, and collaborate on proposal pricing/creation of the Statement of Work. Proactively identify barriers to successful delivery and generate alternatives prior to sale

• Secure new business with large national clients or new sites for existing clients in an assigned territory or portfolio. Develop and execute against MP Enterprise plan to capitalize on market/industry opportunity

Your Typical Day

• Drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to transition to enterprise delivery team. Present value proposition and adapt solutions to meet customer needs and deliver value without sacrificing quality of solution. Partner with individual or multiple markets to solve the client and ensure successful implementation

• Develop strong and deep relationships (webs of influence) to gain in-depth knowledge of the client to communicate this to the ManpowerGroup of Companies so that they can develop a collaborative solution for the client

• Builds effective sales/growth strategies, expands web of influence both internally and externally

• Drives ManpowerGroup of Companies vision and values to influence client relationships where our counsel and our services differentiate us from our competitors

• Identify and make face to face contact with new stakeholders within portfolio of accounts

• Work collaboratively in Global Strategic Client Management teams and US Strategic Client Management teams and Canadian teams to ensure clients perception of brand cohesion, collaboration, and industry star status

• Interface with senior level executives within portfolio of accounts to develop strategic alliances

• Provide coordination across Branch and Regional lines for accounts with multiple locations

Required

• Sales: 2 years selling a solution / in a service industry

• High school diploma or GED

Nice to Have

• Industry knowledge: In-depth knowledge and experience of the staffing industry, exposure to the light industrial or clerical space is a plus

• Bachelor’s degree
