We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing projects and ensuring the seamless delivery of electrical distribution solutions to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Electrical Systems, design principles and applicable codes for Transport segment.

What you’ll do:

• Manage client relationships, maintaining open communication and establishing trust

• Liaison closely with the End Users /PMC and consultants for early engagement to prescribe Eaton’s Range of solutions for Transportation segment which includes Airports, Railways, Ports etc.

• Conduct Technical presentations and training sessions to create awareness of Eaton Solutions

• Develop and execute project plans, ensuring timely implementation of project lifecycle milestones.

• Coordinate with internal engineering, operations, and quality teams to ensure customer’s expectations are met.

• Collaborate with clients to develop customized solutions that meet their specific needs

• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies

• Provide technical support and guidance to clients throughout the project lifecycle

• Prepare project documentation, including project reports, drawings, and specifications

• Stay up to date on industry best practices and emerging technologies related to electrical distribution

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field

• 5+ years of experience in project engineering within the electrical distribution industry

Skills:

• Proven ability to manage projects from inception to completion

• Strong technical knowledge of electrical distribution systems, including substations, transformers, and switchgear

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

• Proficient in AutoCAD, electrical design software, and project management tools

• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as IEC/ IEEE/UL.

• Valid driver's license required
