Logistics Manager (Construction)

Dubai, UAE

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Logistics Manager (Construction) to join our team! In this role you will get to manage the Construction Logistics for residential development.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Managing smooth operation of construction activities of the Project

• Ensure the the material, equipment and resources movement in and around the site is managed without any disruption

• Coordination amongst the construction package to avoid any conflict in operation

• Implement processes and procedure for ensure necessary approvals are obtained

• Coordinate the construction schedules of all contractors and identify potential logistics challenges and resolve

• Planning and maintaining logistics route to ensure access to all part of the Project

• Plan closure/diversion of site access roads and communicate with all stakeholder

• Chair logistics coordination meetings

• Prepare necessary reports as per the Project requirements

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction-related field, or equivalent construction-related work experience

• Minimum 15 years of experience in field construction and logistics is required.

• Experience in the construction of large infrastructure programs in UAE and preferably in Dubai.

• Requires a comprehensive knowledge of logistics, engineering and construction related processes, as well as industry practices

• Requires a comprehensive knowledge of logistics and construction-related processes, as well as industry practices.

• Requires excellent written and oral communication skills

• Familiarity with CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with logistics management and construction would be a plus

• Proven ability to perform in a lead capacity on a program.
