About the OrganizationEWASTE+ is a R2/RIOS Certified Electronics Recycler ITAD company and a licensed NAID AAA Certified Data Destruction Contractor.

EWASTE+ focuses on the recovery of value from idle, obsolete and excess electronic equipment and operates a large-scale processing facility in Victor, New York (near Rochester) and two regional consolidation facilities in Albany and New York City. What You’ll Do:

• Test, troubleshoot, and repair laptops in a manufacturing environment.

• Work with a variety of tools and software, gaining skills in computer hardware and basic software navigation.

• Learn the ins and outs of the refurbishing process while contributing to our mission of sustainable electronics recycling.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm(5-day, 40-hour work week)

Compensation:

• Hourly Rate:$16 per hour

• Incentive:Earn up to an additional$4,000per year in production bonuses, paid out quarterly!

Who We’re Looking For:

• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Excel.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to complete computer-based forms.

• Physical ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds and perform tasks that require standing, kneeling, and balancing.

• Experience or knowledge of electronic hardware/software is a plus, but not required.

• Willingness to work safely in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Position Requirements

This job operates in a Warehouse environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to work near moving mechanical parts. This role routinely uses a hand truck, barcode scanner, basic hand tools, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

• Basic computer knowledge and navigation

• Capable of completing computer based forms

• Experience with Microsoft Excel

• Knowledge of electronic hardware and software is a plus

• Regularly lift and move up to 40 pounds unassisted

• Stand for extended periods of time

• Climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl

• Work safely in a fast paced environment
