Job Title: Laser Machine Operator

Job Description

Join a precision metal fabrication company serving various industries such as Aerospace, Medical, Appliance, Defense Contracting, and Architectural sectors. You will play a crucial role in setting up and operating laser machinery, ensuring high-quality production standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate laser machinery

• Use micrometers and calipers for precise measurements

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on the machine

• Work from blueprints to achieve specifications

• Interpret data from CMM and manual measurements to make machining adjustments

• Lift up to 25 pounds and use a lift for items around 50 pounds

Essential Skills

• Experience with micrometers and calipers

• Proficiency in machine operation and laser setup

• 3 years of experience running laser machines

• Fabrication and programming skills

• Experience with punch press, robot, and press brake

Work Environment

1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM. Optional overtime available. Enjoy a climate-controlled and clean shop environment. Pay ranges from $19.50 to $29.23 per hour, with a $2 premium for off shifts.
