Job Title: Quality Control Inspector

Job Description

We are seeking a Quality Control Inspector to ensure that our hard goods meet the highest production standards. This role involves general office hours from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional night shifts to communicate with overseas vendors. The position requires travel to warehouses within the Vernon Hills area.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality control inspections of hard goods to ensure products meet production standards and conditions.

• Identify and analyze the root causes of quality issues.

• Collaborate with manufacturing partners to address and resolve quality concerns.

• Follow Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) processes.

• Implement lean manufacturing practices to reduce defects.

• Develop expertise in the products and become a subject matter expert.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in inspection and quality control processes.

• Experience with visual inspection and document control.

• Knowledge of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).

• Understanding of ISO 9001 standards.

• Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies.

• Strong root cause analysis skills.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
