Job Title: Quality Control Inspector

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Control Inspector to join our team. This role involves general office hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional night shifts to communicate with overseas vendors. The position requires travel to various warehouses within the Vernon Hills area. The ideal candidate will ensure that our products meet production standards and conditions, identify the root cause of quality issues, and work closely with our manufacturer partners.

Responsibilities

• Ensure products meet production standards and conditions

• Conduct quality control inspections of hard goods

• Identify root causes of quality issues and implement solutions

• Work closely with manufacturer partners

• Follow Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) processes

• Adhere to lean manufacturing practices

• Reduce defects and improve product quality

• Develop expertise in the products

Essential Skills

• Experience in inspection and quality control

• Proficiency with CAPA processes

• Visual inspection skills

• Document control

• Knowledge of ISO 9001

• Six Sigma certification

• Root cause analysis

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to conduct phone calls at night with production as needed

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
