About this Position:

Resource Analyst 9-P11

Saginaw Bay Watershed:

This position will provide education and outreach to farmers and other stakeholder groups in the Saginaw Bay Watershed district of Michigan, with the intention of increasing the understanding and implementation of regenerative agriculture practices in Michigan. This position will be looked upon as a regenerative agriculture contact, will collaborate and network with various stakeholder groups to expedite their regenerative agriculture related goals, and work together with MDARD's Agriculture Development Bureau staff to assist in identifying additional market opportunities for farmers.

West and UP:

Required Education and Experience

Education

Possession of a bachelor's degree in a physical, biological, or natural resource science, resource management, resource planning, engineering, or a related field.

Experience

Resource Analyst 9

Resource Analyst 10

One year of professional experience in the protection, development and maintenance of land, water, or natural resources.

Resource Analyst P11

Two years of professional experience in the protection, development and maintenance of land, water, or natural resources, including one year equivalent to the intermediate (10) level in state service.

Paid Parental Leave:Eligible employees can take12 weeks of paid leaveimmediately after a birth or adoption to allow needed time together at home with a new child.
