Job Title: Mechanical Drafter

Job Description

The role handles low to moderate complexity tasks, prepares necessary drawings and data, and interacts with other departments to resolve customer order and manufacturing issues under the supervision of the Drafting Manager/Supervisor. Limited customer contact may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare necessary drawings and documentation using AutoCAD and other drafting tools.

• Create and manage Bill of Materials (BOM).

• Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer order and manufacturing issues.

• Ensure attention to detail in all drafting and design tasks.

• Work with various mechanical design and engineering software such as Autodesk Inventor and SolidWorks.

• Handle tasks related to sheet metal and mechanical engineering.

Essential Skills

• Mechanical drafting

• Mechanical design

• Mechanical engineering

• Proficiency in AutoCAD

• Experience with drafting/design

• Experience creating and managing Bill of Materials (BOM)

• Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and SolidWorks

• Understanding of sheet metal and engineering principles

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Associates degree in drafting/design

• Ability to work independently

• High character and a go-getter attitude

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43680.00 - $56160.00/yr.

9 holidays – 1 is floating and then 3 weeks of PTO (2.31 hours per week is the accrual) 32 hours of personal time as well. Benefits start 1st of the next month.
