Job Description:

A manufacturing company in Santa Clarita/Valencia area is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist with strong excel and cash posting skills. The ideal candidate will have a keen attention to detail along with an in-depth understanding of handling invoices, billing, and financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts receivable and ensure all payments are processed in a timely and accurate manner.

• Utilize Excel and other spreadsheets for maintaining and managing data related to accounting, billing, financial transactions, and cash posting.

• Reconcile client accounts and resolve any discrepancies by analyzing account information.

• Ensure customer payments are processed and posted accurately, monitoring for irregularities.

• Prepare financial statements including monthly, quarterly and annual reports.

• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure seamless financial operations.

• Respond to client inquiries and resolve any issues related to billing or payments.

• Follow all company's established accounting processes and procedures.

  Requirements

Qualifications Necessary:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field prefered.

• Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist or similar role.

• Proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Excel for financial data handling and manipulation.

• Knowledgeable in cash posting procedures and techniques.

• Strong numeracy and organizational skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently.

• Must have a keen attention to detail and a commitment to high accuracy in work output.

• Comfortable working with deadlines and possessing a problem-solving mindset.
