Provides Physical Access Control technical expertise to support field sales, inside sales and channel partners in closing deals with current and prospective Customers, partners and end users in region. Will be the primary technical resource for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and being the product advocate for readers, credentials, biometric, controllers and mobile access. Articulates PACS technology and product positioning to both business and technical user. Identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process; establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle Duties and Responsibilities Include the following, other duties may be assigned. Develop, present, and respond to proposals for specific customer requirements, including request for proposal responses and industry-specific solutions.

Physical Access Control Solutions (PACS)

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Work with teams to convey customer requirements and devise new ways of putting HID products to use.

  • Strong understanding of access control systems, biometrics, RFID, smart cards, Custom data Encoding and related technologies.

  • Cooperate with Engineering on specific product or solution custom requirements (CPO) & developments

  • Identify sales opportunities and support them to achieve sales plans

  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements, promote the sale of company products, and provide sales support

  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations that explain products or services to customers and prospective customers

  • Support the team at exhibition & events and provide first level technical training to new partners when required

  • Document account activities, generate reports, and keep records of business transactions with customers and suppliers

  • Provide technical presale support such as product configuration, product enquiries and system integration support

  • Provide advice to customers, especially for integration projects, biometrics and mobile access software development support.

  • Conduct product evaluations, proofs of concept, and demonstrations to showcase the functionality, reliability, and efficiency of our access control solutions.

  • Conduct online training sessions for clients, imparting comprehensive knowledge on the functionality, operation of HID Physical Access Control Solutions.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.

  • Engage with clients to understand pain points, clarify technical queries, and present solutions that address their specific challenges.

  • Keep informed on industry news and trends, products, services, competitors, relevant information about legacy, existing, and emerging technologies, and the latest product line developments.

    Education and/or Experience:

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill set, and/or ability required.

  • 10+ years relevant experience in Access Control, Biometrics technical/sales role is a must.

  • Good public speaking skills and an ability to present and communicate in a clear and concise fashion.

  • Ability to quickly learn new industries, markets, and technologies

  • Experience working independently as well as in a team environment

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills

  • Knowledge of and experience in Access Control market, biometrics and critical end users in key strategic verticals.

  • Ability to work with and deal with various languages and cultures Education and/or Experience.

  • College degree in Applied Engineering strongly preferred

  • Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc. Computer Skills

  • Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

  • Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc. Work Requirements
